Costco’s pumpkin cheesecake is back in local warehouses this week. The dessert, which weighs in at four pounds, has reappeared in bakery cases in Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx as of Thursday afternoon.

The cheesecake features a dense pumpkin filling, a whipped topping, and a dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg. Price tags in Astoria and Sunset Park stores list it at $17.99, unchanged from last fall.

Shoppers on Thursday morning were seen adding the seasonal item to carts alongside apples and Halloween candy. An employee at the Rego Park location said the cheesecake typically sells out fast, especially on weekends.

Costco’s fall bakery rotation aligns with a broader trend this season, as pumpkin spice products are visible across supermarkets and coffee chains citywide. The cheesecake joins the warehouse’s rotating menu of pies and cookies, most of which are available through Thanksgiving.
