The H.Wood Group, the Los Angeles hospitality company behind the Delilah supper clubs, will open its first New York restaurant on Tuesday, November 3. Lady Delilah takes over a basement space at 353 W. 14th Street, near Ninth Avenue in Chelsea.

The company is known in Los Angeles for flashy restaurants and a no-photos policy. According to Eater New York, its spots have drawn celebrities including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and Drake. Co-founders John Terzian and Brian Toll opened the original Delilah in 2016. Locations followed in Las Vegas, Miami, and Dallas. The group also ran Delilah as a summer residency in Montauk.

The New York room is 10,000 square feet and below street level. The design leans Art Deco. An archway entrance is faced in white tile meant to echo New York subway stations. Inside are vintage oak details, plush seating, chandeliers, and tiled vaulted ceilings.

The layout includes a main dining room with space for live music and performances, plus two private dining rooms. The no-photos rule carries over from the other locations.

"Our vision was to design a space that celebrates the theatrical romance of the past, where eating, drinking and dancing come together effortlessly," Terzian and Toll said in a press release, as quoted by Eater New York.

Michael Teich, the group's culinary director, is overseeing the menu. It is described as modern American bistro. The bar will serve cocktails and spirits, and will offer bottle service.

Lady Delilah will be open Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 5 p.m. and running late. Reservations are taken through OpenTable.

The opening lands in a stretch of 14th Street west of Ninth Avenue, in the Meatpacking District's orbit. The source material does not list prices or a closing time. It also does not say how the opening night will be handled. Those details were not available in the announcement.
