The restaurant sits near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, surrounded by casinos and tourist foot traffic.
At over 20,000 square feet, the facility will include indoor seating, a drive-thru, and a merchandise shop. In-N-Out, a California-based chain with a cult following, has drawn attention from travelers and locals who gathered on the sidewalk Friday to watch workers haul in furniture. Signs posted on the windows list starting wages for cooks at $19 an hour.
Company representatives have not confirmed an exact opening date but say doors should open sometime in early summer. Security guards have begun patrolling the perimeter as finishing touches continue. Local hospitality workers noted a steady stream of job applicants at a temporary hiring trailer set up behind the building.
The chain’s expansion comes as other fast-casual brands look to capitalize on heavy Strip traffic. Nearby, Shake Shack and Raising Cane’s have maintained late-night hours during the spring festival season. In-N-Out’s new flagship is expected to operate until 2 a.m. on weekends.
